Many parents say that they were worried that their teenage sons who were very angry about the illness or death in their family, would not relate as well to the arts for healing and that they were more interested in sports. A.I.M. was designed for the special needs of these male teens. Led by a licensed art therapist who indulges the boys in “macho” art therapy modalities and athletes who help them to express their anger through sports, these teens learn ways to cope with their anger and deal with their fears and emotions due to the illness or death in the family.
Meets Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for 6 weeks
